Hello everyone. I hope you guys are enjoying this early winter weather. I have something I want to share with you. I had the most unexpected guest when I was helping raking up the fallen leaves at my friend's place on the other day.

| アライグマでございます。たま〜に見ることはありましたが、こんなに人に馴れてる奴は初めてでございます。まず近くにあった壷に前足でペタペタ。次に落ち葉の山にペタペタ。そしてそして、その後になんと私の足にペタペタしてきました。ちなみに、写真手前の黒い物体は私の足でございます。私は本当に真下にカメラを向けて、いま足下にいる、子供の頃に出合うことを夢にまで見たラスカルの写真を撮っていました。一平は死んでもいいと思いました。 That was a raccoon. I had seen it a few times but not like this friendly one. First, he whack-whacked the big pot nearby with his front feet. Then, he whack-whacked the pile of fallen leaves. And lastly, he whack-whacked my left foot! He was super cute. By the way, the black object on the pics is my foot. I was looking right down and taking photos of this little guy. I was going to die. | |

| その後、逃げ去るわけでもなく、庭のあっちこっちに寄り道しながら、歩きさって行きました。（注：アメリカではアライグマは狂犬病ウイルスを媒介する害獣として知られています。皆さん、近寄っちゃダメよ） After that, this guy did not really run off. He was making the detour in the yard and just walked away. (Note: Raccoons are known pests in America because it might carry rabies. Don't go near it) |
